NC Supreme Court Visits Buncombe County

In honor of the 200th anniversary of the court, the North Carolina Supreme Court will hold two special sessions in Buncombe County on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. The first session will take place at 9:30am, and the second session will take place at 11am. The sessions will be followed in the afternoon by a CLE seminar, “Celebrating Professionalism,” featuring Chief Justice Mark Martin from 12:30-4:15pm at Pack Tavern’s Century Room.

Online registration for seating in the gallery for this unique opportunity to see our State’s highest court in Asheville, (for members of the 28th Judicial District Bar only) will be open from March 14 to March 28, 2018 at 28thJDB.com. If more than the allotted number of tickets are requested during that period, tickets will be distributed by lottery selection. More information about the special sessions and accompanying CLE will be forthcoming.
